Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

-At least 3 years of experience in similar roles;
-Good knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments and systems administration;
-Experience with BMC/Control-M or other industrial scheduler;
-Good knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python and/or PowerShell);
-Experience with JBoss, TomCat, Apache or IIS;
-Experience with databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server and/or MySQL) and basic SQL knowledge;
-Experience with Infrastructure backups;
-Experience with monitoring tools (ideally Zabbix or Grafana);
-Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse proxy, Active Directory and Kerberos;
-Knowledge on container-based infrastructure;
-Basic networking knowledge;
-Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
-Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment;
-Willingness to learn and evolve;
-Good communication skills;
-Ability to work in a team.
