In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Porto (hybrid model).
Required Expertise
-3–5 years building data pipelines on public cloud services (preferably AWS, also Azure/GCP).
- 1+ years in data solution architecture, design, development, and support.
- Database architecture, ETL, BI, Big Data, ML, Advanced Analytics.
- Pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions, AWS workflow).
- Lakehouse architectures (Iceberg) and optimizations (Compaction, Z-Order, etc.).
- Software development and transformation (Python, SQL, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages, Docker, CI/CD, automation).
- AWS services: Lambda, Glue, Crawlers, Step Functions, AWS workflow, dynamo db, AWS batch
- DevOps and Agile principles, infrastructure as code (Cloud Formation and Terraform), artifact/vulnerability management.
- Awareness of cloud foundation services (networking, security, storage, IAM).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), French is a plus.
