In this project you will be able to contact with one of the key players in banking in the EU and around the world. Thus, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across more than 50 countries and you will help develop solutions in one of these three areas: investments, business solutions or commercial/personal services.

We are looking for a Functional Data Architect to work in this project in Lisbon or Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

- Experience in Data Modelling;
- Ability to produce data models and understand where to use different types of data models;
- Be able to reverse engineer a data model from a live system;
- Knowledge of the concepts and principles of data modelling and be able to produce, maintain and update relevant data models for specific business needs;
- Experience in Data Standards;
- Ability to develop and set data standards for an organization;
- Communicates the business benefit of data standards, championing and governing those standards across the organization;
- Develop data standards for a specific component;
- Experience in Metadata Management;
- Able to understand a variety of metadata management tools;
- Design and maintain the appropriate metadata repositories to enable the organization to understand their data assets;
- Works with metadata repositories to complete and Maintains it to ensure information remains accurate and up to date;
- Be able to translate business problems into data designs;
- Fluent in English and French is a significant plus.


Responsibilities:

- Structures the information in the Information System, as well as the navigation methods and the terminology used within the Information Systems of the entity, as defined by the lead data architects;
- Creates and manages data models in all their forms, including conceptual models, functional database designs, message models and others in compliance with the data framework policy;
- Allows people to step logically through the Information System, confident they are getting closer to the information they require;
- Contribute and enrich the Data Architecture framework through the material collected during his/her studies, projects and IT validations.
