THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a high-potential engineer to join us in a fast-track development program, leading to a possibility of a Site Manager position in the Bahamas.
Opportunity to combine engineering, project execution, and operational leadership, with direct exposure to the full lifecycle of an industrial plant.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1. Pre-Construction Phase
Contribute to industrial design and process optimisation
Support equipment specification and procurement

2. Construction Phase (On-site – Bahamas)
Supervise installation works, ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance
Coordinate contractors and technical teams on-site

3. Operational Phase
Lead plant commissioning and start-up
Manage day-to-day operations, including:
- Maritime operations
- Production and performance
- Maintenance strategy

Mandatory Requirements
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Availability to be based in Setúbal during the initial training phase
- Hands-on mindset, autonomy, and strong problem-solving skills

Valued Experience (Highly Appreciated)
- looking for early professional experience in:
- Industrial environments
- Waste treatment or oil & gas
- Process engineering or maintenance
Exposure to:
- Construction or commissioning projects
- International or multicultural environments
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices (HSE)
Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure
